Dear Fellow Members,

It’s truly an honor to serve as your ABC Mississippi Chair for 2026. I’m both proud and humbled to represent an organization that has shaped not only our industry but also the opportunities and livelihoods of so many Mississippians.

ABC Mississippi is strong because of its people – dedicated members, passionate leaders, and an incredible staff who care deeply about our industry and its future. I’ve seen firsthand the impact this organization makes when we work together toward a common goal, and that teamwork is what makes ABC Mississippi so special.

This year, I want to focus on two key areas that will continue to drive our success: membership engagement and political advocacy.

Membership engagement is where it all starts. The more you get involved – whether that’s joining a committee, attending an event, or encouraging others in your company to participate – the stronger we become as a chapter. ABC isn’t just a network; it’s a community built on relationships, mentorship, and shared purpose.

Equally important is our voice in government. The policies and decisions made at the state and national levels directly affect how we do business. We must stay active and united in advocating for the Merit Shop philosophy and protecting the principles of free enterprise that define our association. When we speak together, people listen – and that makes all the difference.

I want to thank Jim McNeer, our 2025 Chair, for his steady leadership and years of service to this organization. Jim’s dedication to our mission has left ABC Mississippi in a great position to continue moving forward. I also want to recognize Lee Nations and our outstanding ABC Mississippi staff. Their commitment, professionalism, and energy keep our chapter at the top of its game year
after year.

I’m excited about what’s ahead for 2026. Together, we’ll keep building on the foundation that generations before us have laid – one rooted in integrity, opportunity, and the belief that through hard work and collaboration, we can continue to shape a better future for our industry and our state.
