MISSISSIPPI EDUCATION CONSTRUCTION FOUNDATION (MCEF)

MCEFABC Mississippi is partnered with Mississippi Construction Education Foundation (MCEF) to provide NCCER craft training and credentialing in more than 100 career and technical programs across the state while offering workforce training and credentialing in construction, industrial maintenance and manufacturing trades. The MCEF mission is to promote careers, recruitment capable individuals, and train a quality workforce for the construction industry in Mississippi. In 1996, a coalition of construction associations formed MCEF and ABC Mississippi is proud to work with this organization and to be represented on their board.

APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM   MCEF is a non-union apprenticeship training sponsor with the U. S. Department of Labor (USDOL) that combines paid, on-the-job training with related instruction in the following construction trades. Adult Craft Training is also available for individuals not in a non-apprenticeship program in the following construction trades. Any existing employee or new hire is eligible to become an apprentice as long as they are 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
