Our Safety Technician Training Program is designed to enable contractors to promote a valued Safety Professional from within. Upon training completion, each student will have three National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certificates, an OSHA 30-hour card, Ariel Lift and Forklift Train-the-Trainer certifications, and a certificate of completion from ABC Mississippi. In addition, each student will be required to obtain on-the-job hours, including shadowing an approved Safety Professional and conducting various safety meetings and training sessions for their company.

The Safety Technician Program is conducted virtually with 42 sessions, consisting of 2 hours of training each Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The sessions begin on February 8, 2024, and end on December 12, 2024. The investment is $2,500 per student, including all sessions and training materials.

NCCER is a nationally recognized training format that requires classroom training and skills evaluations. ABC Mississippi is registering this program with the Department of Labor (DOL) as an apprentice program.
