The Construction Leadership Institute (CLI) program is a professional development program focused on industry best practices, management skills, and leadership development. Coursework includes presentations and group activities. CLI will be facilitated by Emergent Method, a Baton Rouge management consulting firm focused on helping organizations innovate and grow. 1. MODEL THE WAY: January 23-24, 2020 - Session highlights include business etiquette, productivity and time management and construction insurance.
2. INSPIRE A SHARED VISION: February 20-21, 2020 - Session highlights include public speaking and meeting facilitation, the art of persuasion and negotiation, introduction presentations and construction law.
3. CHALLENGE THE PROCESS: March 19-20, 2020 - Session highlights include emotional intelligence and conflict resolution, change management, construction finance and project budgeting.
4. ENABLE OTHERS TO ACT: April 23-24, 2020 - Session highlights include coaching and evaluation employees, delivering exceptional customer service and green construction.
5. ENCOURAGE THE HEART: May 28-29, 2020 - Session highlights include hiring, culture and succession planning, networking and business development, president’s message and a graduation ceremony.

This monthly program is held on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am-1:15 pm. The investment is $1,500 per person. This includes all 5 courses and meals. The program includes further learning opportunities with social hours and meals. This time enables participants to develop friendships that will long endure. The program designed for future company leaders and is limited to 25 participants.
