Fall Protection

Fall Protection

SUMMARY   The “Competent Person Awareness” Fall Protection Training Course is an instructor-led course utilizing a student manual, OSHA’s Subpart M1926.500-503 Fall Protection regulations, actual job-site fall protection slides, and fall protection equipment demonstrations. The course's purpose is to provide users with the regulations, safety guidelines, and procedures needed to recognize and eliminate hazards in the field. This course addresses OSHA’s Competent Person (CP) requirements as they pertain to fall protection.

OSHA COMPLIANCE  OSHA’s Competent Person requirements are paramount in Fall Protection. Each competent person issue is identified and discussed. Hands-on fall protection equipment demonstrations help to re-enforce OSHA’s training requirements. Each student is provided with instruction, a student manual, and a thorough review of the Fall Protection Standard and (CP) requirements. This aids the employer in his/her decision to make a competent person designation, as required by OSHA.
